Life isn’t perfect. We are constantly showered with rough roads, dreary weather, and obstacles beyond compare. But you can’t let this get to you. You have to rise above and fight to the finish, and show that you can do all things in His name. You’ve gotten through so much already, who says you have to stop now? Life is tough, but you are tougher.
There’s always going to be those few people out there who will try to step on you, but that’s only going to happen if you let them. Rather than focusing on them, you need to focus on those who lift you up, the ones surround you with love, with faith, and with support.
Yes, you didn’t get the best grade on that test. Sure, you might have gotten frustrated over something minuscule. But do these things change your ability to make a difference in this world, do they make you any less strong? NO. In fact, making mistakes can benefit you and help you grow in dozens of ways.
It’s okay to mess up. It’s okay to have everything all over the place, just as long as your heart is in the right one, which I know it is. Romans 8:18 says “The pain that you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming.” Don’t ever forget that. No matter what is happening in your life, something better, something wonderful will soon enough follow. God has a plan for you.
You are lovely. You are worthy.
You are more than you could ever imagine for yourself. You truly have no idea how many people you have touched, how many lives you have changed.
Martin Luther King Jr. once said that “only in darkness can you see the stars.” So look up darling. Look for those stars. Because, let me tell you, those stars are breathtaking.
